Myles Deck and The Fuzz

There are certain places people know to go for quality garage rock. Detroit, for example. Certain neighborhoods in New York. And … Canada! Wait, what?
I don’t know much about the garage rock scene in our northern neighbors, but I do know Myles Deck and The Fuzz are laying Nova Scotia flat with songs straight from The Stooges. This isn’t put on a black turtleneck, light your pipe, and ponder the universe rock – this is put on a black The Gories shirt, light a fire in a metal barrel, and show the universe what Big Bang really means.
This four piece has dropped a free EP “Police Cops” for all interested parties, of which there will be many. The 3 song blitz proves its punk roots by clocking in at under 7 minutes total. Of particular note is Boom Boom, which is already gathering much buzz on the blogosphere. Fans of classic punk and garage rock line up.
